ॐ Om ॐ

Om or Aum is of paramount importance in Hinduism. This symbol is a sacred syllable representing Brahman,
The impersonal Absolute of Hinduism - omnipotent, omnipresent, and the source of all manifest existence. Brahman,
Itself, is incomprehensible so a symbol becomes mandatory to help us understand the Unknowable. Om,
therefore, represents both the unmanifest (nirguna) and manifest (Saguna) aspects of God. That is why it is
called Pranava, to mean that it pervades life and runs through our prana or breath. Can be considered the sound of the universe.

Om in Daily Life
Although Om symbolizes the most profound concepts of Hindu belief, is in daily use. The Hindus begin their day or any work or a journey expressing Om. The sacred symbol is often found at the head of letters,
At the beginning of examination papers and so on. Many Hindus, as an expression of spiritual perfection, wear the Om as a pendant. This symbol is sanctified in any Hindu place or somehow or another in family temples temple.
It is interesting to note that a newly born child is ushered into the world with this holy sign. After birth, the child is ritually bathed and the sacred symbol Om is written on its tongue with honey. Thus, at the time of birth the syllable Om is initiated into the life of a Hindu and stays with him forever as a symbol of devotion. Om is also a popular symbol used in contemporary body art and tattoos.

The Eternal Syllable

According to the Mandukya Upanishad, "Om is the eternal syllable of which all that exists is but the development. Past, present and future are included in this one sound, and all that exists beyond the three forms of time is also implied in it. "

The Music of Om

Om is not a word but rather an intonation, which, like music, transcends the barriers of species, age, race, culture and even. It consists of three Sanskrit, aa, au and ma letters that when combined, make the sound Aum or Om. Believed to be the basic sound of the world and to contain all other sounds. It is a mantra or prayer in itself. If repeated with the correct intonation, it can resonate throughout the body so that the sound penetrates to the center of being, the atman or soul.
There is harmony, peace and glory that sound simple but deeply philosophical. By vibrating the sacred syllable Om, the supreme combination of letters, if one thinks of the Personality of Godhead Last and leave his body, he will certainly reach the ultimate state of eternity "stateless", says the Bhagavad Gita.

The Vision of Om

Om provides a dualistic point of view. On the one hand, it projects the mind beyond the immediate to what is abstract and inexpressible. On the other hand, makes the absolute more tangible and comprehensive. It encompasses all potentialities and possibilities, is all that was, is, or can be. He is omnipotent and also remains elusive.

The Power of OM

During meditation, when we chant Om, we create within ourselves a vibration that harmonizes sympathy with the cosmic vibration and we start thinking universally. The momentary silence between each chant becomes palpable. Mind moves between the opposites of sound and silence until, finally, he lets the sound.
In the silence, thought-Om-is quenched only; no thought. This is the state of trance, where the mind and the intellect are transcended as Individual Self merges with the Infinite Self in the religious moment of realization.
It is a time when the petty worldly affairs are lost in the desire for the universal.
Such is the immeasurable power of Om.

Hamsá

The hamsa is a talisman with the appearance of the palm with five fingers extended, used by practitioners of Judaism and Islam as an amulet against the evil eye. It is also known by the names chamsa, Hand of God, Hand of Fatima, Eye of Fatima, Hand of Miriam or Hamesh Hand.
description

She is a symmetric, whose thumb and pinky are identical hand and pointed to the sides, and the middle finger is the axis of symmetry.
There is also Hamsås shaped similar to a hand doves. It can also appear as a normal hand with a separate thumb pinky.
Often has the design eye, pigeons, fish and stars of David to strengthen its symbolism.
use

The Hamsa is used as an amulet against the evil eye.
It is very popular in the Middle East, especially in Egypt.
The hand can be found in several forms, from jewelry to tiles and keychains.
Although the Quran veto the use of amulets, Hamsa is easily found among followers of Islam
Muslims associate the five pillars of Islam, and also call it the hand of Fatima, Fatima being the favorite daughter of Mohammed.
Notably, Hamsa appears, along with other Islamic symbols.
The symbol is also associated with the Torah, which consists of five books.
history

There is archaeological evidence of the use of the hamsa as a shield against the evil eye even before Judaism and Islam
There are indications that the Hamsa would be a Phoenician symbol, associated with Tanit, chief goddess of Carthage whose hand or vulva away evil.
Later, the symbol was adopted by the Arab culture, who passed it to the Jews. Hamsa also appears in Buddhism; is called Abhaya Mudra and features similar to that described connotation, meaning the dissipation of fear.
Currently, advocates of peace in the Middle East have used the Hamsa. The symbol remember the common roots of Judaism and Islam. In that case, would not be a talisman against the evil eye, but a symbol of hope for peace in the troubled region.

Slaves Of Society

Today I came here to criticize ... A critique purely social. Something that not only bothers me but also makes me wonder how far society has come. Wanted to understand how a small piece of paper called money can interfere in the lives of 99% of the world population. I will not say I do not like money because it would be here doing another hypocritical speech as most of these false moralists called "journalists" write around.
I came here to expose my thought with indignation to see that the money today surpassed even love, surpassed all that we hold most important, and the worst, the human being is made very easy by taking this capitalist system that just took dignity and all scruples that man has come to take a day.
Today, a wise man is not he who has wisdom but rather one that has a leaf of paper called diploma. And who gets the diploma? Exactly ... He who has money.
The system prevents us from dreaming prevents you from following your heart because your rational side knows that if you do not have that shit diploma you will not be "accepted" in a society. That's what happens, people are afraid to follow their dreams because of this cruel dictator who will not give you a second chance.
And what happens? You are forced to follow a path that the system dictates. You fall in that ridiculous deal where you completely lose their identity, the fad.
If everyone has a brand sneakers society forces him to have one too because you are afraid that you look different, fear of feeling inferior.
Today for example, many rich and spoiled girls completely sold the system want to dress like rebels without a cause with outfits that they all have equal because that is what the hype says they should dress well.
Men were muscular pump to take because the fad and the company says they should have a sculptural body.
Women do plastic surgeries and often are left with sequelae because of vanity, because they do not accept the way they are, want to be like the model in the magazine or television, want to follow the standard of beauty that the media dictates.
I'm not saying that having crime or sin is vanity after all, we are all human beings. There are few who really care because while they are all worried more about appearances are leaving to be happy. Only happiness is what really matters. Nobody lives of appearances, because for more than try to keep out the look you want, inside you're not living nothing but a lie. The criticism that has been made for people with closed minds, they are not realizing that the urban city and the capitalist system is devouring one by one and are taking our right to dream. And I end this review with a request: though it may be tempting to never let the system dictate how you should be.

Verse Of The Day

'' Remember: happiness is a way of travel not a destination''.

Poetry 1

Abstract Feeling and Relating

What is happiness to you?
Happiness is living far from the city live in positivity where the sun floods our soul.
Happiness is being able to believe in tomorrow with the assurance that all will be is uncertain live without worry.
You wake up in the face to the sea, to sing, play, fly, scream without anyone bothering.
Nobody ... There will always be someone to make you hostage tell you that you can not dream, you can not believe a dream you can, you should comply with the reality that life can give you.
But already said Chorão: But what can be expected of a person who can not dream?
Move on or better without direction, the money came to confuse the heart.
Happiness is riding a slipper shoe when everyone is saying that is right when everyone says is wrong.
It goes without direction following only the extinct heart.
You could say yes as everyone says no, it could fly as everyone keeps the floor.
You believe when everyone says doubt.
You have someone special by your side, to love as though it had never loved.
You live for something worth dying for, is to know and understand that life is not a matter of having, but of being.
It set aside all material and devote to sentimental because this life is all inside but lets be immortal.
Being happy is to never say never and always believe that a dream is possible, believe in the impossible and believe you can not beat.
You leave behind what was not good to open doors for the future irreverent, is to step back and two forward.
To feel alive and playing in this abstract and relative sense without the fear of making mistakes.
It is believed that one day peace and love to meet and be sure that tomorrow will be better than yesterday.
Happiness is skateboarding and look at the sea and the certainty that one day I will find you.
Something so different took me so suddenly, a sentence saying crosses himself, that your happiness will annoy many people.
Never let the world change your smile!

Dream Catcher

 What is a Dream Catcher?

You have a dream catcher hanging in your window? You know what it's for or how it works? Do not? So find out here because these beautiful webs hunting dreams are so successful. And good night!

Dream catchers are definitely in fashion. You can find them in almost every esoteric stores. And although the name of filter dreams (or dream catcher, in English), is already suggestive, not everyone knows exactly what these beautiful round objects decorated with feathers and beads.

The dream catchers came to Brazil from USA. But they are far from being a fad. Almost all Native American tribes for many years incorporated them to their traditions. And the legends about them spread everywhere.

Although nowadays all these Indian nations produce their own dream catchers, the story begins with the filters Ojibwe (or Chippewa) Indians.

The history of dream catchers
Dreams played a key role in the lives of Ojibwe. To this people who lived in the Great Lakes and Americans who now also spreading to other regions of New Mexico, learning to decipher the messages revealed in dreams was the most important task that people had during its passage through the Earth. Because of this, the dream catcher was an essential tool.

The filter dreams, as it is known in Portuguese, in fact, is not a filter, is a web. The Ojibwe believe that when night falls, the air is filled with dreams, good and bad. Some of these dreams, even nightmares and may contain an important message from the Great Spirit to us. So in fact, these dreams are good dreams. But there are many other dreams and bad energy floating around us and that are not ours. These can they harm us. It is precisely to separate these bad dreams and energies that are the dream catchers.

Tradition says that the colored webs are hung over the cradle of infants and children to walk. The good dreams, knowing exactly where to go, can pass through the central hole of the web, while the bad dreams get lost and end up stuck in the wires. When the first rays of sunshine appear, bad dreams disappear. The circles are made with flexible branches of willow and covered with leather straps.

A pen is placed in the center representing the air or breathing, essential for life. The baby is worth noting dance in the wind, he learns a lesson about the importance of air. Furthermore, the owl's feather, female, symbolizes wisdom. The eagle feather, male, serves to give courage.

To capture the dreams of adults, dream catchers are twisted fiber and not with willow branches. So they are more resistant.

As the spider web of dreams gave to humans
There are many stories related to spiders and Spider-Women between the various nations of American Indians. In many of these traditions, for example, Spider-Woman is a fundamental and wise character or as messenger of the sun, sometimes Grandma Sun itself and organizer of life on Earth. There are several legends connected with dream catchers. This we have chosen is just one of the versions.

A spider spun its web near the grandmother's bed (Nokomi). Every day she watched the spider work. A few days later, her grandson came in and, seeing the spider in the web, picked up a stone to kill her. But Grandma did not leave. The boy thought it strange, but respected his wish. The old woman turned to look once more the work of the animal and then the spider spoke. "Thank you for saving my life I'll give you a gift so The next new moon will spin a web in your window. . want you to watch carefully and learn how to weave the yarn. because this web will serve to capture all the bad dreams and bad energy. the small hole in the center will pass the good dreams and make them come to you.
When the moon came, the grandmother saw the spider weave her magic web and gratefully, was beside himself with happiness for the wonderful gift: "Learn," said the spider. Finally, exhausted, grandmother slept. When the first rays of sun appeared in the sky, she woke up and saw the web as a shining gem thanks to the drops of dew caught on the wires. The breeze brought dove feathers that were also caught in the web, dancing merrily and, finally, a crow landed on the web and left a long feather hanging. Through the meshes of the web, the Sun Father smiled happily. And Grandma, Happy, taught all the tribe to make the dream catchers. And today they come away from the nightmares of many people. Who knows it will not work with you too?
